Join Us

The DVTF welcomes new members. With membership fixed at 55 members, entry is via a waiting list. Members pay an annual subscription, which is fixed every year at the AGM. Each member is also required to join three working parties on the river every year. You may fish as often as you wish during the season which runs from 1 April to 30 September. 

Barbless or de-barbed hooks are obligatory and you may take up to two fish per fishing session and up to 10 per season. You may also take a guest by paying for a guest permit. 

New members pay an additional one-off joining fee which is the equivalent of the annual subscription. 

2026 season fee:

£400 plus a one off joining fee of £400.
